Athletes Parents Show ...Visit the Website
The Athletes Parents Show is a forum for parents, coaches and young athletes to discuss the current issues in youth sports. Each week we cover a youth sports topic with a special guest who's an authority on the subject and take phone calls from parents and fans. The show is hosted by Mickey Hiter President of SANDLOTT Baseball and has featured many interesting and authoritative interviews over the past three years. Such notable guests as retired major-leaguers Dale Murphy, Scott Fletcher, Marquis Grissom, Stubby Clapp and coaches like Tim Corbin, Jeff Forehand, Dave Jarvis, Todd Raleigh, John Barlow and Pete Caliendo have all shared their knowledge and opinions. Everyone from trainers, authors to sports psychologists all bring their expertise to the various subjects. The show airs live each Saturday morning at 11:00 am central time on WNSR Sports Radio 560 in Nashville and streams live over the internet. Fletcher Baseball Expo and World Series ...Visit the Website
Ballpark Sports and Fletcher Baseball are creating a spectacular weekend for baseball and softball enthusiasts in beautiful North Charleston,S.C.. The weekend will start off with a fireworks show on July 4th,Baseball Expo July 5th and 6th,and going into the 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u Fletcher Baseball Championships which runs from July 5th thru July 12th,2008. The weekend will include many events including, but not limited to, Seminars and Clinics for Players, Coaches, and Parents; as well as Celebrity Meet & Greets, Tradeshow, Raffles, Autographs, Pictures, and much more! The Baseball Expo is an opportunity to be educated by the best in the business. As we get closer to this event you can check out our websites to see some of the clinicians that will be in attendance.

Triple Crown NC Championship

The Carolina Angels 9U defeated the Carolina Outlaws 8-5 in the Championship game of the North Carolina State Triple Crown Championship. The Angels went 5 and 0 to win the tournament.

USTBA East Region National Championships

The United States Travel Baseball Association East Region National Championships held in Destin Florida proved to be an extremely competitive event with four of five Championship Games decided by 1 run.
The American Championship Players and Coaches were awarded Custom National Championship Rings at the closing ceremonies.
Teams from seven States participated in the innagural USTBA Summer Nationals with Champions from four different States.
11 & Under American Division (AAA)
Stingers Baseball from Jackson Tennessee defeated the East Cobb longhorns 5-4. The Championship Game had to go into extra innings before the Stingers were able to take the title in 8.
11 & Under National Division (AA)
North Gwinnett Bulldogs from Suwanne Georgia defeated the Capitol City Cubs from Baton Rouge Louisiana 2-1. The Championship Game was tied 1-1 after 3 innings until the Bulldogs were able to put one on the board in the sixth to take the lead and hold on for the win.
12 & Under American Division (AAA)
North Florida Bulls from Niceville Florida defeated the Wren Academy Gators from Gulfport Mississippi 6-5. The Bulls come from behind victory was due to a sixth inning two run homer.
13 & Under American Division (AAA)
East Cobb Braves from Marietta Georgia defeated the Emerald Coast Blazers from Okaloosa County Florida 2-1. The Braves and Blazers were deadlocked after two innings with the Braves taking the game, title and rings on a close play at home in the seventh inning.
13 & Under National Division (AA)
Orioles Baseball from Clarksville Tennessee defeated the A's from Clermont Georgia 4-2. The #1 seed Orioles faced off against the #2 seed A's in an exciting and well played game by both teams.
The Midwest Region Championships take place July 16 - July 21 in Indianappolis Indiana for the 9U, 11U & 12U age divisions and July 23-27 in Schaumburg Illinois for the 10Um 13U & 14U age divisions.
The West Coast Region Championships take place July 25-29 in San Deigo California for the 8U thru 18U age divisions.
