Nations Baseball

Nations Baseball has begun its inaugural season of competition with several fall tournaments across the country. Nations will offer a full slate of tournament baseball for all ages and all divisions beginning in 2009. Lou Presutti, founder of Cooperstown Dreams Park, and one of Nations Baseball's founding partners, has 47 years of participation in youth baseball through coaching and board membership, the new Nations Baseball Park is in the planning stages and will be one of the premier amateur baseball facilities in the world. Hoosier Classic - Fletcher Baseball

Wisconsin Rivercats defeated Joy of the Game by a score of 2 -0 in the Championship Game. The Rivercats scored two runs in the first inning and after that it was a pitchers game in this 15 and under tournament held at Standard Bank Park in Crestwood,IL. The event was ran by Team Exposure a Ballpark Sports Baseball Company.

The Championship Game was are fought battle between two great teams.(Crystal Lake Babe Ruth and TSA of Buffalo Grove)Tsa got on board first with two runs in the bottom of the 1st inning.With TSA leading 3 to 1 after 3 innings,Crystal Lake responded with 3 runs in the top of the 4th to take the lead.The game continued to go back and forth with the lead changing.Crystal Lake tied the score in the top of the 6th inning at 6 to 6.TSA responded in the bottom of the 6th with a double by Anthony Briginola to score Matt Perez for the go ahead run.In the top of the 7th,TSA was able to hold off the surging Crystal Lake Babe Ruth team by stranding Nick Glaviano at second base to end the game.The final score was TSA 7 Crystal Lake Babe Ruth 6
